If you’re in a reality TV rut waiting for the next season of Love is Blind or Bachelor in Paradise, we have a recommendation for you. Amazon has entered the reality tv game with an amazingly hilarious new reality competition show, The GOAT on FreeVee.
The GOAT has a line up of top reality stars from your favorite reality shows from Bravo, Netflix, The CW, ABC, The Food Network, MTV, Lifetime, Philo and CBS. If the show exists, you’re going to find a cast member from it.
The Host
If you haven’t heard of Daniel Tosh, you must be living under a rock. The former host of Tosh.0, stand up comedian and fellow UCF alum brings a whole new level of laughs to his hosting gig. Unlike other reality tv hosts, Tosh gets fully involved in the show. He is on brand, on theme, and the GOAT of hosting hilarity.
He is not above hopping a fence ala Colton from The Bachelor to get some giggles, or channeling Real Housewives Lisa Rinna for a challenge.

The Format
Each week, cast members compete in challenges themed after a genre of reality show. So far we’ve seen talent shows, medical reality tv and Bravo drama represented.
There are two challenges per episode, one for immunity from herd elimination, also known as Ultimation. The winner of the first challenge of the week is safe and picks the teams for the Ultimation challenge. The losing team is up for Ultimation in a drama filled elimination ceremony. The backstabbing, alliance breaking and shocking twists are up there with any season of The Challenge or Big Brother you’ve seen to date.
Losing contestants aren’t only kicked out of Goat Manor, their golden GOAT idol statues are melted in the elimination bonfire.
Guest Appearances
Episode 3 brought the first guest judge of what will hopefully be many more to come. American Idol’s William Hung joined Daniel Tosh to watch an Untalented show with the herd competing in the strangest “talents” we’ve seen on reality tv. Who can forget Reza’s…limbo?
We cannot wait for more episodes of The GOAT. It airs Thursdays on Amazon FreeVee through May 30th, 2024.
